Ayurveda offers a compassionate, intelligent way to understand this transition — one that honors your body’s wisdom and helps you realign with who you are now.

AYURVEDA & HORMONE BALANCE

In Ayurveda, doshas are the three foundational energies — Vata, Pitta, Kapha — that govern how our bodies and minds function. They arise from the five elements — ether, air, fire, water, and earth — which make up everything in nature, including us.

Each of us is born with a unique combination of these energies, known as our constitution. Understanding our dosha helps us recognize how our body naturally moves, metabolizes, and responds — and how to support it in staying balanced.

When you understand your dosha, the question shifts from
“What’s wrong with me?”
to
“What does my body need to feel supported?”

This is where clarity replaces confusion — and self-trust replaces self-criticism. Using the ancient science of Ayurveda together with our body’s innate intelligence, hormone balance becomes more sustainable and can create a foundation for lasting health and vibrance.

    Ether + Air → Vata

    In balance: Creative, intuitive, expressive, quick to understand, flexible, inspired.

    Out of balance: Anxiety, worry, racing thoughts, insomnia or light, broken sleep, feeling overwhelmed, digestive variability (bloating, constipation, irregular hunger), dry skin, dry hair, feeling “ungrounded” or “all over the place”, sensitivity to noise, crowds, stimulation, mood swings, feeling cold frequently, irregular cycles or erratic hormonal symptoms, feeling “not like myself”.

  • The energy of transformation, shaping digestion, focus, and leadership.

    Fire + Water → Pitta

    In balance: driven, focused, confident, disciplined, consistent, strong digestion, natural leadership

    Out of balance: Irritability, anger, frustration, hot flashes / heat intolerance, inflammation, perfectionism, overworking, the internal pressure to “perform”, heartburn, acidity, skin rashes.

  • The energy of stability and structure, supporting resilience, grounding, and nourishment.

    Water + Earth → Kapha

    In balance: Steady, grounded, compassionate, patient, loyal, strong immunity.

    Out of balance: Weight gain, sluggishness, feeling stuck or unmotivated, congestion, emotional heaviness, craving comfort foods, oversleeping.
